Simon says, “Sound is undoubtedly the primary human sense, and it is a source of constant frustration to me that it is so often overlooked, side-lined and compromised.

Jeff Murray – AVProConnect via Aldous Systems

“Distributing 4K Video with HDR”

In today’s world of high-bandwidth 4K content including HDR color, we are forced to find solutions to problems we didn’t even know we had. Almost all existing infrastructure is not ready for the 18Gbps bandwidth needed to distribute these video signals. In this session Jeff Murray (President of AVPro) will talk about the bumps in the road of distributing 4K with High Dynamic Range and Wide Color Gamut, and what steps are needed to overcome the issues. You will learn about EDID’s and how they effect a signal from the source, learn about bandwidth and the restrictions it can cause, and how cabling and distance need to be managed more closely than ever. We hope to see you there.
